This oval shaped table is a beautiful piece of vintage, 1960s style art. It is constructed of 3/4-inch-thick cabinet grade plywood & topped with Wilson Art “purple eggplant” matte laminate. The beautiful retro color is a statement piece in a living room, den or office. The laminate is attached to the wood with contact cement & the top & bottom edges of the table are given a slight curve to soften the look. We finished the sides with multiple coats of stain to get the color saturation needed to compliment the piece, then sealed it with 3 layers of water based polyurethane. The table is 47 inches wide with 16-inch steel hairpin legs making it a perfect coffee or cocktail size. We can also make this an entry or sofa table by using 28-inch legs if desired.
