This is a piece of Pulled Thread Embroidery. Pulled or Drawn Thread as it is sometimes called is one of the earliest forms of open work embroidery & has been worked throughout Europe. Originally it was often used for ecclesiastical items & to ornate shrouds. It is an amazing handmade lace. Size: 44" long & 16" wide Condition: Perfectly Vintage Antiques are 100 years plus & Vintage is a minimum of 20 years (Etsy Standards).
