Original pencil drawing sketchs, dating from the 1980s. These drawing is by illustrator Salim Patel & is part of a very large collection I have of mostly pencil & pen drawings, paintings, photos & letters. Patel was mostly a book illustrator & appeared to be working mostly between the 1960s - 90s. Very few of the works are signed or dated but many are sketches for book cover / illustrations. These picture are sheets from a sketch book & its thin cream paper. They are approx. 23cm x 31.5cm, although the last one is a little smaller . I think they are all drawn with a soft pencil.
