Vintage NOAH’S ARK Child’s Wood Chair Handmade Hand Painted “He Led Them Two By Two”. Hand Carved Folk Art toddler child’s chair could also be used for doll display or as a nursery decoration. Adorable chair would be a sweet children’s gift for that special someone! The details are exquisite & sweet! Noah is holding a dove while standing beside the open door. The hole in the open door acts as a handhold for carrying the chair. Over the doorway, “He Led Them Two By Two” is hand painted. There are two giraffes on either side of Noah that also form the back legs. The front legs are elephants painted dark gray. The hand carved seat features zebras & lions looking through the portholes with Whales or Dolphins swimming along the edge in white & blue painted waves. A date is printed in permanent marker on the bottom, which is probably the date that it was gifted to a previous child owner. This is shown in the last photo. This small child size chair measures 18"H x 9"W x 8.5"D & sits 9" off the ground. Child’s chair is in quite good condition for it’s vintage age. The painted details are still nice & mostly all complete. There is some wear to the leg paint, mostly along the bottom where they sit on the floor. There are dings here & there, common to the vintage age. This adorable NOAH’S ARK Folk Art chair could be used for a toddler, but unsure how strong it really is given the vintage age.
