This set consisting of desk & newspaper holders was designed by Gianfranco Frattini for Cassino & made by Meblo. Meblo is a Slovenian furniture factory, in the time of the former Yugoslavia. They worked a lot with Italian furniture manufacturers, especially with Cassino & Guzzini. Gianfranco Frattini (1926-2004) was an Italian architect & designer. His collaboration with Cassino began in 1956. He was one of the most important Italian designers of the 1960s & 1970s. The glass is original & in good condition. Traces of use & age are very visible on the wooden part. The textile is original & there are small stains from age.
