A vintage (early 2000s) Marimekko skirt designed by Mika Piirainen, in a polka-dot print brushed cotton twill (feels like velveteen - very soft! ). It is cut like a jeans skirt, straight or “pencil” silhouette, with fly front, belt loops, back vent at hem, & topstitched front pockets (other seams are not topstitched). It is fully lined (acetate & nylon), & finished around the inside of the waist with a woven “marimekko” ribbon. This was purchased new at the Marimekko store in Cambridge, MA (now closed, alas!) by a very stylish friend, & only worn a few times - she takes very good care of her things, so it is excellent condition! Size: marked a 38, about a S-M; check flat measurements below, & compare to a similar garment that fits you. Measurements (measured flat): across waist: 15" across hip: 19" center back length (including waistband): 23" across hem: 19" For reference, my dress form measures 34" bust, 25" waist, 37" hip Condition: Excellent condition, no damage, issues or signs of wear.
