There are not many of these around, not sure if the cases just weren’t durable although I’ve had several by other companies that have held up well in fact I use one to measure packaging for shipping. Dunlap Tools 3916 in really nice condition that measures out to 8ft in a push/pull style with a Wyteface tape that is nice & clean.
