This vintage light blue ceramic table lamp has been refitted with all new decorative & electrical components. The hardware is solid unlacquered brass, which will patina beautifully over time. The bulb socket is a white ceramic antique reproduction & the cord is white fabric wrapped cording fitted with a plug for a US outlet. As the lamp base is vintage, please expect signs of age & wear. Available with or without a lampshade. The shade is custom made in the US, available in any linen color (see photos for color options; we can send larger images of any of the swatches & help pick out a color, just send us a message!). Shown in photos with a round Earth shade & a square Prussian shade. If purchasing with a lampshade, please leave a note at checkout indicating your color choice. Please ask any questions about color subtleties, like the many variations of off-white, before ordering; colors may look slightly different on screen than in person. Orders with shades may take up to four weeks to ship as they are handmade to order. Shade colors are subject to availability. If purchasing without a shade & your own shade has a spider fitting, please let us know so we can build a harp onto the lamp or include a clip-on fitter. Lampshades with an UNO fitting will fit this lamp, though the shade will rest on top of the ceramic bulb fixture (rather than sliding over it) & is secured when the bulb is screwed in. ● Lamp measures about 16.5 inches tall (measured from the base to the top of the bulb fixture) & 6.5 inches at its widest point ● With either of the shades pictured on & an A19 bulb, it measures about 22.5 inches tall. Both the round & square shades measure about 16 inches wide. ● Available with or without a shade. Shades are clip-on style. For this lamp & shade, we recommend a standard A19 bulb (one included with your order). ● The 1-way standard E26 socket is rated for bulbs up to 250 watts, though a lower wattage LED bulb is recommended with fabric lampshades. One soft white LED bulb included. ~ A word about unlacquered brass ~ While everything from the vase up is brand new, we don’t necessarily want it to look brand new, particularly paired with vintage & antique vase bases - that’s just our style & an intentional design choice. As such, our preferred metal finish is raw, unlacquered brass, chosen for its wabi-sabi & time-worn characteristics. We use raw brass in three forms: cast, turned, & stamped brass. Each is different; they patina differently, some show wear & scuffs more easily, etc. (please see the description above of the individual lamp you are looking at for more details). Unlaqcuered brass has not been chemically treated, polished or buffed, & is likely to have lines & minor scratches that come from the machining & casting processes.
