This classic table runner was made by me - from the original artwork that became the fabric pattern to the sewing. (Yes, I actually designed my own basic stripe fabric to coordinate with my other fabrics). I do not sell my fabric patterns, so I am confident in calling this an original, exclusive design. It is made from a medium-weight, natural textured linen-cotton blend (55% linen, 45% cotton) in a very slightly slubby Oxford weave. The fabric will soften & age well over time. This longer length, 16" x 88" is perfect for dining tables, larger sideboards, kitchen islands, or even a picnic table. The runner has .5" hems with mitered corners. Although the laundering instructions say to wash on a gentle/delicate setting & dry on low temperature, I pre-washed the fabric on a regular warm cotton cycle & dried it on a normal setting. After all, who wants linens that can’t take a good washing? For a crisp look, this will have to be ironed, but no one will judge you if you don’t :).
