It’s obvious fit is as a dresser in a traditional style bedroom but think outside the box & use it as a buffet/sideboard in your dining room, as a TV stand/console table in your living room or even to make a statement in an entry / entryway. The NINE dovetail drawers & solid wood base show the high original quality of this American made piece by Thomasville Furniture Co. Two drawers are hidden by doors for more intimate belongings. The drawers operate smoothly, the doors close well but must be closed together (see video) This is a matte Gray finish & the original brass hardware was polished to reveal it’s true class. PLEASE NOTE: (Full Disclosure) There was some bleed through from the top coat pulling out the tannins in the wood, this is common when a dark wood is painted in a light color. Please see the last picture for an up close of what I mean. It does not detract at all from the elegance of the piece & is only seen in certain light.
