They stow away in a relatively small amount of space, could even be hung on brackets on a wall. They could even be set up to be stored on a type of dolly or rolling cart to easily roll out to the patio for outside guests. & though I wouldn’t put a very large person in them, they are plenty sturdy for the average person. They would be great for extra chairs in a tiny house, camper or large boat. They might even be good chairs to keep in your trunk for outings as they are much easier to get out of than a lot of folding chairs for an older or disabled person. They are made out of a light maple colored wood. They aren’t perfect, they do have some marks from normal use & it looks like something dripped on one of them that removed the finish in a spot but they still display well for the casual chairs that they are. The chairs measure approx. 32" tall x 17 1/2" wide & the height from the floor to the top edge of the seat is 16 1/2". Folded they measure approx. 35 1/4" tall x 17 1/2" x 2 3/4" & they each weigh 8 pounds 10 ounces.
