Metaphysical Properties: Selenite is named after Selene, the Greek goddess of the moon. Extremely soft, it is a form of gypsum that has been called “liquid light”. It is wonderful for cleansing the ethereal body, clearing energy blockages & repelling negativity. A highly protective stone, selenite aids in clarity & clearing. Our experience shows if you treat your piece with love & care, it can last for quite a while. For bracelets, that means carefully taking them on & off individually so they do not break or stretch (narrow your hand by crossing your thumb over your palm & roll them on & off). We also recommend that you not swim, bathe, shower or exercise while wearing them or have them come into contact with shampoo, soaps, hairsprays, perfumes, body lotions & sunscreen as this may weaken the elastic chord - stretching or breaking it. Please store them carefully when not wearing & be careful not to toss or drop on hard surfaces. Sizing Tip: If you are unsure of your size, the best way to determine a size is to take a flexible measuring tape (or a string if you don’t have one) & simply wrap it around your wrist so that the ends touch, noting the measurement. Do not pull the string tightly to do so, but simply allow the ends to naturally complete the circle. Add about 1/4" to the measurement if you like your bracelet a little looser. If you like for the beads to sit on the wrist without too much movement up & down, stick with the wrist measurement.
