Made with authentic reclaimed wood, this small farmhouse breakfast table offers simplicity, functionality, & beauty to any kitchen nook or dining room. It’s a great corner table for puzzles, cards, or the coffee maker & nice enough to use as a display at weddings or other special events. We use recycled 4x4 posts shaved on all four sides until they are 2.25 inches square. This is REAL reclaimed wood & colors, textures, & wood grains will vary. Knots, nail holes, & saw marks are common & add to the overall rustic nature of using repurposed materials. We also lightly sand & seal the wood with a matte water based polyurethane. (For more info see our listing for just the Leg. https://www.etsy.com/listing/1071109185) COLOR/FINISH OPTIONS Natural Matte The Natural matte finish uses the same reclaimed barn wood as our mixed barnwood finish, but we run it through the saws & sanders to give it a more even finish. It will have the same knots, nail holes & even saw marks as the mixed barnwood, as well as variation in color depending on the age & grain of the wood. The natural finish is also given a light coat of matte polyurethane for protection & to bring out the amazing natural colors hidden within the reclaimed wood. Medium & Dark Stain The Medium & Dark Stained finishes are more self-explanatory. We start with the natural matte tabletop & add a stain to give the wood a medium or dark brown finish. There will still be variation in color depending on how the different woods react to the stain & the knots, nail holes, & saw marks will still be visible, but less distinct.
