Its development of the 3-layer-joint with a smart, flat folding mechanism paved the way for this transparent folding chair by Anonima Castelli to become an international icon. The Anonima Castelli folding chair features a chrome-plated steeltube frame, as well as a back & seat made of Cane. Plia is about 51 cm wide, 76 cm high, & 48 cm deep. The seat height measures 43 cm. Designer Giancarlo Piretti was accorded a special honour: The Plia Folding Chair by Anonima Castelli was included into the permanent exhibition of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.
