The bright colors of the rainbow pop out with the white background on this hexagonally-shaped table topper. The design of this topper matches the table runner I feature in another posting. Each of the blocks are made with triangular pieces, that are then sewed together. There is a 2 inch border around the outside with rainbow stripes. I quilted this on my long arm quilt machine using a variegated thread that includes the colors of the rainbow. The stitch pattern goes from edge to edge with the uniform design called Breath of God. The backing is blue with tiny rainbow colored x’s. & the binding around the outside is gold colored with blotches of white & light yellow. The table runner is 25 inches across.
