This is a DIY kit to make your own Puppy in a Sweater woven ornament. The puppy is a weaving loom made from laser cut birch plywood. You add the woven sweater made from hand-dyed wool yarn & ply a cord from cotton threads to make the leash, which he is carrying in his mouth. (My puppy loves to do this! You can see him in the last photo.) The ornament has tiny details that make it special, like the leash with a miniature clippy that hooks to the dogs collar & engraved nose & eye details. The finished ornament is approximately 3.5 x 2.75 inches. Kit includes: laser cut bamboo dog-shaped loom one mini-skein of hand-dyed wool yarn (assorted colors) perle cotton thread (assorted colors) tapestry needle jump rings & lobster clasp for leash ribbon hanger two pages of instructions with full color step-by-step photos For this kit you will just need to provide scissors & a small piece of masking tape. Each kit has yarn & thread in assorted bright colors; the leash & the sweater coordinate but every kit is different. The yarn skeins are hand-dyed so that they make almost a plaid pattern when you weave them. Kit is great for beginners of all ages. Recommended for kids age 8 & up. (Kit does contain small parts so it is not suitable for children under age 8.) Packaged in a clear poly bag. Packaging & instruction sheet are recyclable.
