Matted in complimentary green & framed in a black & gold wood frame, this lithograph is pencil signed by the artist in the lower right corner & numbered 256/275 in the lower left corner. A clear plastic envelope on the back holds the authentication complete with raised seal along with a Collector’s Guild clipping about the artist. Ready to hang with a sawtooth hanger. Good vintage condition with light staining at the edge of the white border where it meets the matt. Measurements: framed size 24" high x 30" wide. Pierre Jacquot was born in Nancy, France in 1929. Many of his pieces illustrate the ambiguous prophecies of Nostradamus with symbols from astrology & the tarot. He also did cityscapes & circus scenes. Pierre Jacquot died in October 2009 in Grenade-sur-Garonne in the South-West of France.
