For very light weight batiks, a solid color fabric may be used on the reverse side for additional stability but this will not show from the front as you use the sleeve. Actual size is approximately 7" tall x 2" wide with pen opening 5" high Elastic is cut at 10" & is about 9-3/8 once sewn in - stretches to at least 15" but suggest custom order to avoid excess stress on elastic if you need a longer pen sleeve.
