It is made from an unused or very lightly used authentic Japanese vintage silk obi kimono belt with sparkly urushi threads. It has an exquisite woven design of traditional flowers, bamboo, thatched huts & other imagery in sparkly shades of gray, rich gold, rose, pink, pale green, white & other colors on this lovely silk fukura obi. The back has solid cream silk. It can be hung as wall decor or this gorgeous art piece can also be a runner used as: a table runner - just imagine the Christmas & New Years holidays sparkling with this center piece in your dining room or, use as a bed runner to welcome guests or decorate your master bedroom, or use in a meditation or altar space.
