This is an unused unworn lovely obi kimono belt OR I can make it into a home decor art piece table runner/ bed runner MADE TO ORDER for you from this authentic Japanese vintage silk obi kimono belt with lovely woven patterns of noshi ribbons & fans with long-tailed birds, flower blossoms & butterflies with plaid & striped patterns in sparkly gold & featuring rich colors of blue, rose, purple, eggplant, mahogany red & dark gold on this silk fukura obi. It is more richly colored than it appears on my monitor with a unique back side that is a red/gold sahanishki pattern with both ends featuring a pattern of bamboo & flowers - something I have never seen before in an obi. The usually plain section is a gorgeous wide-striped mahogany/rose & navy silk. Elegant & traditional. Note: Photos are of full folded obi. The entire Fukuro obi can be purchased intact for wearing or crafting & is approx 14 ft long with about 8 ft continuous patterned fabric followed by a solid silk section ending in about a 13" section of patterned fabric. The back & unpatterned smooth silk sections are shown especially for those purchasing the whole obi while the runners are made from the patterned section. This gorgeous art piece can be used as: a table runner - just imagine the Christmas & New Years holidays sparkling with this center piece in your dining room or, use as a bed runner to welcome guests or decorate your master bedroom, or hang as wall decor.
