He is best known for his detailed etchings of New York City & its landmarks. He taught at Hunter College & at the New School in New York. His works are represented in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Newark Museum, the New York Public Library, the New York Historical Society, the Albright-Knox Art Gallery & the Library of Congress.
