This murphy table in solid oak is a perfect solution if there is not much space in your kitchen, living room, or any other room. It is suitable to work with your computer, do your homework, do some handwork, it also can be turned into an additional working area in the kitchen & so on. This table is unfolded upwards! A STURDY WALL IS NECESSARY in ORDER TO SECURE THE TABLE. Please pay attention to the table weight (oak table is really heavy, 90cm x 50 cm - 11 kg) & if your wall is sheetrock wall or so-called drywall give it a thought, where are you going to secure the table - sheetrock is not going to support such a weight, so you have to drill it to the frame beams. in this case you need to know the exact distance between beams & think it through in advance whether the locations of those beams & the distance between them are suitable for a tabletop & supporting leg to be secured to. However, it is important to have in mind that wood in some sense, is alive, i.e. when temperature & humidity fluctuate it can transform a bit while “breathing”; e.g. the tabletop can bend slightly, sometimes up t 5 millimeters (0.2 inches), & then straighten again later on. We would suggest considering if such funny “pranks” that come with buying a wooden table is something that you are ready for.
