This is nearly 13 POUNDS of glass, in a medium size priority shipping box filled with nice bright & colorful glass shards. (glass may settle during shipping) Many of the pieces have fantastic texture, patterns, graphics or ribbing. There are many colors in the lot even cobalt! This glass was found throughout the Comstock mining district near old abandoned mines & also abandoned logging camps throughout the Mother Lode gold county in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada’s. This glass has not been washed. All that is needed is to soak it in a tub of soapy water for a day or so & mix with a large spoon to dislodge any dirt. The third picture shows how pretty the glass is after cleaning. These are larger pieces so you can use them for your accent pieces or break them into smaller pieces for nice variety in your project.
