This solid wood table is made to order - wood grain will vary because every piece of wood is wonderfully different. I prefer an oil & wax finish to bring out the natural color of the wood with an oil based satin poly top coat to protect & seal the table. There is some assembly needed, but it is minimal, simple & instructions are included. No tools or hardware required.
