The use of quality woods & fine craftsmanship along with innovative timeless design resulted in the production of this wonderful rocker. Constructed entirely from solid walnut & has it’s original warm brown finish with a beautiful patina & age appropriate minor marks, wear & dings. This fantastic rocker has remained with the original owners since the 1960’s when they were just married & living in New York & bought a number of pieces from the Smilow-Thielle collections to furnish their first home together. It still remains strong & sturdy & their home was always pet & smoke free. There is no makers mark or signature on this piece as Mel Smilow never signed his furniture.
