Handmade southwest metal Kokopelli sculpture on a lightly copper-painted crescent moon base. There are many stories among the native tribes about these little guys. To some, they are deities that embody fertility & renewal. To others, mischief & song is their nature. My favorite kind of Kokopelli are those that travel, carrying songs on their back. When they find a new song, they’ll take it & leave an old one behind. He is Naturally rusted in the Tucson monsoons & attached to a heavy crescent moon steel base. Playing a song on his flute, he has glyphs cut into his wardrobe. Not machined or mass-produced in a factory, each one is uniquely made to order at my home workshop. The natural Rust coloration will be different each time & may vary slightly from the pictures. Made from thick gage steel & welded to a heavy steel plate.
