A partially restored reprint of the historic old town plan. Every town in Massachusetts was required to make a map & send it to Boston so that a good map of the whole Commonwealth could be made. Thanks are due to the Massachusetts State Archives for scanning & making these valuable historical documents available. We have removed an unsightly “scotch tape” band & made a few other adjustments to the original image so that the print will be closer to how it would have appeared in the 19th century. Some age marks have been left to preserve the antiquity. We have added some background tone to the margins of the original image so that the prints have an even rectangular look. Original size: 24" x 32". Available in different sizes or on a sheet of canvas, rolled. These are not mounted on a frame. If you intend to stretcher-mount a canvas print you will need extra wide margins. Send a message for details or if you would like a different size on canvas. Printed on high quality bond paper.
