This live edge dining table is perfect for modern, elegant spaces. The steel legs give the table a touch of industrial style but in an updated modern way. SIZE: The table is 36" x 60". The finished top is at 30" above the floor. This is a good size for 4-6 people. Walnut is a hardwood which means that it won’t easily be damaged by using the table. We build our table tops using multiple planks which helps to create a stronger table than you would get from just one slab. This table has a finished thickness of just under 2" This top has a live edge. LEGS: The legs for this table are made of steel. This particular style is called Double Y. They have been powder coated with a black finish. FINISH: The top has been finished with a clear all-natural oil. We hand rub this oil into the wood. It adheres to the individual fibres, instead of just sitting on top, to create durable matte finish. It brings out the natural color of the wood. This finish was originally developed for hardwood floors so it is strong enough to stand up to daily use. We typically finish walnut in a pure finish which allows the natural colors of the walnut to be the star.
