“Jaspar” is a light, tightly woven straw hat. The material “wheat straw braid” makes it more flexible & keeps its shape. No matter whether you are travelling, on a summer stroll through town or on a beach excursion, the airy summer hat makes for a cool look on hot days. Its medium-wide brim provides good protection. The high headboard plays with the androgynous shape. Casual & elegant, the hat fits her & him equally. The production of a raw hat from “Wheat Straw Mottled” is very complex. A braided wheat straw border is sewn together to form a capeline. This is done on braiding machines that are almost 100 years old. The hat gets its final shape by hand using heat, water & a lot of time. in order to show off the beauty of the shape, the hat band is sewn in with blind stitching. Thus no visible seam disturbs the overall impression. Available in sizes 55 cm - 59 cm. All hats are handmade. For the production of a perfect hat it takes some time. All hats are ready 7-12 days after payment received. Please determine your hat size as follows: Head circumference in cm: Place the measuring tape on the back of the head & place it about 1 cm above the ears forward on the forehead above the eyebrows. The measure, measured in centimeters, is the size of the hat. Do not pull the tape too tight, but do not let it sit loose. Height of the head in cm: Place the measuring tape over the apex, from ear to ear (similar to the head of a headphone) & measure from the upper ear attachment of the left ear to the upper ear attachment of the right ear.
