The magnet on the clasp is a tight fit, you do not need to worry about it falling off. It is easy to open on your own by twisting & lifting the top off the bottom. Here’s how to select the perfect size for your bracelet: Measure your wrist using a soft measuring tape or a piece of string & a ruler. Then, size up approximately 1/2 inch for snug fit. Size up 3/4 to one inch for a comfortable fit. Or size up 1 inch or more for a loose fit. For example, a 6 inch wrist measurement sizes up 3/4 to 1 inch & orders a 6.75 or 7 inch bracelet for a comfortable fit. For reference: My wrist measures 6 inches & I LOVE to wear all my thick cuff bracelets in the snug to comfortable range at 6.75 inch.
