Handmade Thrush Pen Holder

Costa Rica’s national bird, the yiguirro or clay-colored thrush is a source of inspiration for Maria Guillermina Rivera. Working with balsa wood, she carves the sweet little creature and paints it by hand. Held in place by a magnet, it perches on a delightful pen or pencil holder.
