With its elegantly curved brim & round headpiece, the Aimée summer hat is reminiscent of the romantic look of the 1920s. The asymmetrical brim is double-worked so that the shape comes into its own particularly beautifully. The use of finely braided, twisted paper yarn as the hat material harmonises with the timeless, purist shape. The cloche looks very feminine & at the same time minimalist chic. An intense orange-red hatband adds a strong colour accent to the delicate flannel grey of the hat, but without being obtrusive. I make the sun hat, which is carefully handmade in my Berlin studio, from light, pleasantly air-permeable paper yarn in the colour flannel. Twisted paper yarn is characterised by its high wearing comfort. Available in sizes 54 cm - 59 cm. All hats are handmade. For the production of a perfect hat it takes some time. All hats are ready 7-12 days after payment received. Please determine your hat size as follows: Head circumference in cm: Place the measuring tape on the back of the head & place it about 1 cm above the ears forward on the forehead above the eyebrows. The measure, measured in centimeters, is the size of the hat. Do not pull the tape too tight, but do not let it sit loose. Height of the head in cm: Place the measuring tape over the apex, from ear to ear (similar to the head of a headphone) & measure from the upper ear attachment of the left ear to the upper ear attachment of the right ear.
