Made in 1957 by a skilled seamstress auntie for a school party. Unfortunately, this dress is trashed, so we need to pass this along to someone with more skills than we have. Beading is loose & beads are missing all over, & the delicate silk chiffon is torn in several places, notably the straps & skirt. Regrettably, the skirt was mended with scotch tape causing discoloration to the underskirt. made from a 1920s beaded flapper dress clear bugle & seed beads (pretty sure they are glass) Scoop neckline drop waist with a wide sash sleeveless Fully lined fuller skirt scotch tape mend Designer: handmade Color: blue Fabric: beaded crepe silk chiffon attached to heavier cotton underdress Condition: Pre-owned in very poor condition Size: girls M/L MEASUREMENTS (inches) Measurements are taken flat & doubled when appropriate.
