The interlocking pieces are then glued together with wood glue. They are shipped assembled. BRAND OPTIONS: Kallax The finished measurements are: 13-3/16" wide, 5" tall & 7-1/2" deep. Better Homes & Gardens The finished measurements are: 13" wide, 5" tall & 7-1/2" deep. Threshold The finished measurements are: 13.44" wide, 5" tall & 7.20" deep. We recommend having a back on your cube shelf. Unfinished: MDF (medium-density fibreboard) which is 1/4" thick & a brownish color. Very strong. Because they are made of a natural material, the color & appearance of each piece may slightly vary. Our MDF organizers & inserts are unfinished.
