I have been dying to make a pencil skirt for my shop & because of a customer request, I am finally able to introduce one. This skirt is made from my handmade patchwork fabric with Ankara backing so the inside of the skirt is smooth & sleek. The fabric backing also adds support so the patchwork won’t stretch or tear around some of the stress points. Skirt zips in the back & has a hook & eye closure at the top. Skirts are fully finished & serged. Waist, hip, & height measurements are required for this piece. See below for details regarding sizing & I hope you like it! IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THIS CUSTOM GARMENT SHOP, PLEASE READ SIZING: Most pieces are made custom to your personal measurements. This ensures a reliable fit across the bust & waist as well as allowing for customized lengths. Each garment will be made with built in ease for comfort. Generally, for dresses I will provide an additional 1 inch in the waist & 2 inches in the bust. I will add an additional 2 inches in the waist & 3 inches in the bust for jackets & coats. Skirt waistbands will have an additional half inch. For example, if your measurements are 36 inch bust & 30 inch waist, the finished garment will be 38-39 inches in the bust & 30.5-32 inches in the waist depending on the garment. If you would like additional ease, or room, in the garment, just let me know. Providing correct body measurements is essential to the success of your garment. Taking the measurement in the correct spot is also essential to the fit so please read measurements required carefully & reach out if you have questions. Below is the list of body measurements needed for each garment. Waist-measure around the smallest part of the waist or three inches above the belly button. Most garments are high-waisted Overall height-your total measurement in feet & inches. ie: 5'4" Hips-measure around the fullest part of your hips & rear.
