Danish mid-century modern teak & oak dining chair Ch-23 designed by Hans J. Wegner for Carl Hansen & Son made in Denmark. The wood frame is made with oak, & the backrest is made with teak. The butterfly joints shows a signature feature of Wegner’s work. It has been newly refinished, & it shows beautiful wood grain. The paper cord seat was done a few years ago I believe. It shows slight sun tan & a few tiny stain as you can see in the photos. It is sturdy, & overall, it is in excellent vintage condition. There is no maker’s mark on the chair, but it is authentic one. The last two photos shows the comparison of the color difference on the paper cord with another ch-23 chair with new paper cord in another listing. The right side one is the chair on this listing. The left one is available in a separate listing. https://www.etsy.com/listing/1205559414/danish-mid-century-modern-hans-wegner?click_key=32d28aa373d176a053468053f6d59dfc9bad8bd6%3A1205559414&click_sum=49283c82&ref=shop_home_active_12&sts=1 Hans J.
