Beautiful 1" walnut table designed for iconic American Airstream Travel Trailer. The solid wood used here is not your average wood from a hardware store. The wood here is purchased form a wood mill in rough form & machined meticulously to the final size using jointer, planer, table, saw, & router. Despite its simple look, a lot of time gets put in to each piece to produce the end results. I spend a lot of time to match the patterns when making pieces over 6" wide as I want the results to look natural. This table is 39" long by 35" wide by 1" thick, corners are 6" radius with 3/8" round over on all the edges (top & bottom). Hardware shown is not included, If you would like me to supply the hardware, please let me know & I will send you an updated listing. If you would like me to mount your hardware, please mail it to me & I will install the hardware & ship complete. Pair of 30" long steel support bracing is included as shown. Please note screws may protrude below the surface. Please note in case of African Mahogany, the thickness is 3/4" & support brackets are not required or included. Custom sizes & shapes can be ordered, please contact me for a quote. All the pieces are finished in a very systematic way to ensure absolute best appearance. This is my proven procedure I have been following for years with great results: 1. All the surfaces are sanded with 100, 120, 150, 180, 220 grits of sanded paper using random orbit sander. 2. The ends are sanded with additional 320 grits as the ends absorb more than the rest. Having one grit level more equalizes the ends with rest of the piece 3. Next, I apply a special sealer which is an ideal solution for achieving a natural look on beautiful woods like walnut that stabilizes the grain for next steps. I let this dry at least 24 hours 4. I apply four coats of clear coat by hand rubbing to bring out the beauty of walnut. I sand 320 grits between each coat. Each side, edges, ends receives same treatment. It takes 12 hour for each coat to dry. The whole process takes over 4 days. The finish is semi-gloss, however matte finish is available at no additional charge. Please specify your finish at the time of placing your order. 5. Once dry, I wrap each piece using foam wrap, paying special attention to the corners & edges. in case of multiple orders, I try to make each shipment under 50lbs to make it easier to handle & also reduce risk of damage during shipment Several length & width are available for 1" thick or 1.25", even 1.5".
