The wood top is reclaimed, old Growth Douglas Fir that was salvaged from a project of ours. The building was over 170 Years old giving the wood beautiful character. It’s very satisfying to use reclaimed wood to produce furniture. It’s timeless & unique look & its environmental contribution as a recycled green building material makes the end product special. Stools can be ordered separately at a corresponding height. For your convenience, we use a commercial-grade wood finish that keeps you from worrying about watermarks or scratches (“Raw & Un-protected” finish excluded). RECLAIMED BARNWOOD TABLETOP: Each tabletop is made exclusively out of reclaimed barnwood at a thickness of either 1.5" or 2.5". Although barns age & their structures become compromised, its wood ages beautifully, gaining timeless characteristics that make for stunningly unique furniture pieces.
