The set has years of patina which only adds to their character. They appear to be hand made, copper wrapped wood with soldered seams. They each have some dings & dents as shown & we estimate these to be c. 1940’s - 1950’s or earlier. We love the patina, but they could certainly be polished to a shiny finish.
