Crafted from a stunning solid 1 & 3/4" thick claro walnut Slab that sits atop a 2" thick Nakashima-inspire solid walnut base. Subtle details in the base include a reverse cove edge profile on the leg system & round overs featured throughout. At the tail end of the project, I added custom-made CNC’ed brass “boomerang” keys that are inlaid in several places throughout the piece, & are echoed with brass plugs in the leg system. Matte finish hand-rubbed oil on the base, Oil & matte finish topcoat featured on the tabletop. This piece is sold but let’s work together on creating your own heirloom piece.
