This gorgeous rustic slab of Pennsylvania Black Walnut is my newest creation The thick slice of Black Walnut had most of its center gone due to natural decay. I stabilized the inside, sanded to a glass smooth surface, then added the artistry. Using natural Copper Mica & Jet Black Mica I designed the clashing Black & copper. I think the effect is stunning! While keeping the natural beauty of one of natures prettiest woods, I managed to add a very eye catching (but not gaudy) artistic touch. This will make a perfect large side table or deck table for your favorite beverage.
