This rare old linen Christmas table runner features four colorful elves & their woodland friends playing in the snow. The piece measures about 11" by 24" in size; the colors are bright & the fabric is sturdy. There are no holes or tears. The only flaw I can find is the light stain left by a sticker on the bottom left (looking at the front of runner) & really only noticeable when you look at the back of the fabric. The colorful holiday fabric is marked “Hill” at the bottom edge but I can’t find an artist to match the design. This looks early mid-century to me & may be a Scandinavian design. I love this old linen decoration but am paring down my holiday collections. I’ve always thought it would look great framed, or even as a seasonal pillow, but it has been a table topper for me.
