This set is perfect for any child who loves to help in the kitchen. It includes a child size apron & an adjustable child size chef hat! The apron & hat are made of a green camoflague fabric. They are ready to ship. The apron is a standard-size child apron, & should fit children approximately ages 1 through 5 or 6, depending on the child (I also offer youth size aprons for older children). The apron measures approximately 18" from top to bottom, not counting the neck strap, & 14-15 inches across the waist (not counting the apron strings). I double stitch the neck & waist strings for extra support. The chef hat is has a wide brim, with a fluffy chef-style hat on top. The hat features two pieces of coordinating satin ribbon on the back, which ties into a bow & makes the hat adjustable. This way it will grow with your child! If you prefer the hat to be adjustable with a strip of velcro instead of the ribbon, please leave me a note with your order, otherwise you will receive the ribbon. My adjustable chef hats are approximately 20-21 inches around. This fits children up to approximately ages 8-12, though each child’s head is sized differently. Remember that the ribbon will make the hat fit any child’s head that is smaller than this! To measure your child’s head, either use a soft measuring tape or (if you don’t have a soft measuring tape) a piece of ribbon. Wrap the ribbon around your child’s head & then lay it out flat on a ruler to get an accurate measurement. I’m happy to add a pocket or embroidery to your apron, just select from the drop down menu. Pockets can be made of a solid, a fun coordinating print or the matching fabric (embroidery stands out best on a solid colored pocket). Please leave a note at checkout if you have a preference on fabric or color for your pocket. Otherwise, I’ll message you options shortly after you place your order for you to choose from. If I don’t hear back in a couple days, I’m happy to choose whichever fabric I think looks best. Embroidery will be done on the pocket of the apron, unless you request a different location at checkout. If you choose “apron-no pocket” & then select embroidery in the second dropdown box, a pocket will be added with the name embroidered on it. If you select the embroidery option, simply put the name you want embroidered in the “notes to seller” box at checkout. I love making aprons, & would be happy to custom make one for you.
