It is Plate 4 from the second edition of George Edwards masterful work “A Natural History of Uncommon Birds” published in London, 1802. This specific edition was produced in an uncommon larger size using hand-laid paper with excellent bold original hand color. It is an original antique print, not a modern reproduction. Dimensions: Approx. 11-1/2" x 19" (sheet size) Condition: Very good. Single tiny spot to the left of the hawk, but otherwise clean with wonderful original hand color. It will be packaged in a sealed plastic sleeve on a backing & will ship flat within a large rigid mailer for protection.
