Up for your consideration is this Magnificent Tilt Top Table, with a 3 leg design & beautifully carved Pedestal . Each of the legs has a small Ball Foot. Tops of legs have a carved rib Design. Center Pedestal is carved with an urn with a ribbed design around it. Top of pedestal has a shaped Design which decreases in size with a round ring & a wide round top on the Pedestal. On top of the Pedestal is an oblong block, round end of Pedestal goes through block & supports the top of the Table. The Top of the table has 2 long braces lengthwise across the Table top on the underside. The Braces support the table top & are secured on a pin, so that the top can be turned & secured with a brass hooking mechanism. The top of the Table is oblong with shaped corners, the longer sides have a slight curve along the edge, straight edge across the shorter edge. Pictures best describe. I am do not know what kind of wood the table is, could be Mahogany or Cherry. Measurements: Approx. 29" high Overall. Pedestal: Approx. 28" high. Block Measures: 5 3/4" x 5 3/4" x 1 7/8". Feet on legs Approx. 20" Across. Leg extends from Pedestal 9 1/2". Shaped Leg: 1 3/4" wide to 1 1/8" wide at foot. Shaped Table Top: Measures Approx. 21 3/4" x 26" x 3/4" thick.
