This is a lovely, matched set of early 20th c. chair pads, each with Shaker style shirred work. Each is made with uniform strip-cut wool fabrics in an undulating pattern with cotton stitch cord. They have different color floral designs, & each can be used with either side upwards. They measure 13" by 13" & are 1" thick. The second & third photos show the front & back of the same pad & note that the third photo shows a stain on the flower, not visible from the other side. This is the only damage I have found. I have owned these for years & had them in my chairs, but they were “just for nice” & never sat on. I have never seen any other chair pads made in this fashion.
