Antique leather & brass tape measure by John Rabone & Sons of Birmingham England. This is not functional as is. The tape is missing & this is the case only. Maybe you have a tape you can wind into it? It’s still a great display piece with your other primitive antique tools. The brass handle does flip out & turn easily. From the early 1900’s. Condition is excellent for age as far as the condition of the leather & brass are concerned. Someone’s name seems to be scratched into the backside. Measures 4 1/8" diameter x 3/4" high.
