Up for your consideration is this Antique French Silk Chair 1840’s. This chair has a gorgeous embroidered flower design done in golden toned silk set atop a beautiful purple silk. The arms & legs of the chair are comprised of intricately carved wood with gold leaf gilt atop of it. The bottom of the chair has rolling wheels on it so you can move it with ease. The chair is nice & wide because this was the era of large bustles & petticoats; so this chair accommodates for that. Just stunning craftsmanship. This chair is in excellent antique condition, with a few dings here & there but nothing that detracts from the stability or beauty of the piece. I did take this into consideration when pricing.
