We are pleased to be offering this matched pair of 42-inch round center tables or entrance tables to you today. Dating from the 1890s, these are all tiger sawn oak in what appears to be the original finish. They must have been in a commercial institution as they have a circular hole drilled into both of them for what, I am guessing, must have been a wire for a lamp at one time. The holes can be disguised by using a wooden dowel, but we left them in case the next owner would like to use it for a lamp or some other electrical item(s). My first choice would be to display wooden horn phonographs on them, it would be perfect!! They have four legs with a circular shelf underneath that is approximately 24 inches round & is held up by four fancy fretwork shelf supports that join the legs. The skirt has egg & dart molding. It has a reverse bevel edge molded top. One table the top has split on the top & bottom shelf. If that bothers the clients, it can be pulled out & re-laminated. These tables could be raised by adding castors to 30 inches high to make a great poker table or breakfast table. They are quite unique being a match pair. Shipping starts at $285 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges. Please contact us prior to purchase with your zip code to obtain a quote for shipping outside of New England. Antique Center Tables, Pair Of Oak Parlor Tables - 42" Round Rare #21176
