A rare Set of 2 Vintage Penelope stencilled canvas in Chippendale design for use as a chair back, seat & arm rests. Traditional floral scroll & birds design.Arm rests have left & right perspectives. Design C/B5657A is the seat & C/B5657B is the back & armrests. Made in England by Wm Briggs & designed to be completed in trammed tent stitch using Coats Anchor Tapisserie Wool. Colors & quantities are included. If completing a chair isn’t for you then the canvases can be adapted to other projects - the chair seat would make a fabulous firescreen as there is lots of excess an as that you could complete in your color choice. Each canvas is a substantial 81x90cm. Chair base design is approx 54cm x 49 cm. Chair back is approx 35 x 38cm. Arm rests are 10.5 x 17 cm.
